The information on assessment of the morpho-functional status of brain base arteries and vegetal regulation of the heart rhythm of liquidators of Chernobyl disaster aged 40-59 years old who got a low and middle radiation dose (from 0.1 up to 27.27 rad.) is presented. The assessment of the morpho-functional status of brain base arteries was performed by transcranial triplex sonography of intracranial arteries. To study the bloodflow in the brain artery system we investigated the following paired vessels: a medial cerebral artery, a posterior cerebral artery, a vertebral artery. Each of the artery group was, in its turn, examined by two subgroups according to the artery territories: 1 - carotid territory (the medial cerebral artery), 2 - vertebrobasilar system (the posterior cerebral artery and the vertebral artery). The analysis of the vegetal regulation and vegetal innervations was made by the method of estimation of heart rate variability. To assess the heart rate variability parameters we used an electrocardiogram record with the cardiorhythmography analysis. It is found that subjects who experienced the stress of the ionizing radiation exposure undergo early changes in brain circulation systems and heart rhythm regulation that are more characteristic for progeria of blood circulation organs of elderly aged and later life persons. The subjects prone to senilism show the increase of peripheric resistance to the bloodflow in the arterial circle of Willis as well as reduction of lineal flow characteristics and derating of performance measure of the sympathic and parasympathetic nervous system. The found changes in the parameters of the bloodflow in the cerebral arteries and in the parameters of heart rate variability can be considered to be objective criteria for the assessment of involutive changes as a universal biological phenomenon in the blood circulation system and are recommended for usage for diagnostics of senilism.
