THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING ANNUAL SUMMER-SPRING FORAGE CROPS IN THE ARID CONDITIONS OF THE STEPPE ZONE

The article summarizes the results of two years of research into the annual spring forage for uninterrupted reception of green mass in the second half of the vegetation period in dry conditions. The complex estimation and shows the characteristics of the main agronomic characters and properties of varieties and hybrids of sweet sorghum, Sudan grass, sorghum-sudankovyh hybrids, foxtail millet, panic and payzy selection of Stavropol Agricultural Research Institute. By mowing ripeness these cultures complement each other and provide a number of animals, vayut green fodder from the 3 middle of June until 1 October decade. Established that earlier mowing characterized by increased content of crude protein and promotes intensive neurite formation and the second and third mowing. The highest yield of green mass of 3 mowing obtained from sorghum-sudankovyh hybrids of sweet sorghum and Sudan grass. The greatest number of fodder units per 1 ha and digestible protein in the hybrid Navigator. The protein content per feed unit was the best in Sudan grass and foxtail millet. The greatest amount of crude protein contained in payzy and sorghum-sudankovyh hybrids. The minimum amount of fiber in sweet sorghum was Galia. Presented in the article, new varieties and hybrids are well balanced pi tatelnosti and have high digestibility of feed.
