In the work there were presents the results of the study of the age-related dynamics of changes in the surface active properties of the lungs with simultaneous assessment of the total lipids level and low-density lipoproteins and indicators of water metabolism in lung tissue in intact rats of different postnatal age. At different stages of postnatal development were revealed different of the surface activity of the alveolar complex with significant decrease stability in the late stage of ontogenesis. Animals of different age groups show a significant increase with age of accumulation in the lung tissue of low density lipoproteins and common lipids. The results of the studies showed an increase of lung weight values and a multidirectional change in the dry residue of lung tissue with age, which may indicate a change in the hydrophilic properties and blood filling of the lungs.
