EVALUATION OF ADAPTABILITY OF RICE VARIETIES TO CULTIVATION IN CONDITIONS OF SARPINSKY LOWLAND UNDER SPRINKLER IRRIGATION

In the article the results of many years of research (2003-2005), the provduced in the all-Russian research Institute of irrigated agriculture discusses the adaptation of rice varieties to the hard natural conditions Sarpinsky lowland, with periodic watering, providing the possibility of formation of crop capacity of 4 and 5 t/ha of grain. Definitely that heat the Northern part of the Sarpinsky lowland in the area of the Raigorodskaya-watering irrigation system for the duration of the frost-free period (165-185 days) and the sum of average daily air temperatures above 15 В°C (2800 - 3200 В°C) Glashutte with the biological need of the early and mid-season varieties, severe-ing the growing season in 110-128 days at the sum of average daily temperatures 2443.2-2637.5 В°C. Comparative evaluation of the degree of adaptability of rice varieties Volgograd, Turn and Razdolnaya to the natural conditions in the area of research and technology of Oro-sheniya periodic waterings yielded positive results for all classes, the preferred indicators in favor of varieties Volgogradsky. On average, for three years the crops of this variety formed the productivity level 4.09 and 4.99 t/ha of grain varying from 3.91 to 5.25 t/ha. It is 0.32 and 0.36 t/ha above average yields of varieties of Virazh and 0.08 and 0.10 t/ha varieties Sochi.
