Index of activity of the regulatory systems is an important component of the analysis heart rate variability. It allows to carry rapid diagnostics of functional state. Increased activity of the regulatory systems is associated with a change in the structure of the heart rate variability and hemodynamic parameters. Girls have an index of activity of regulatory systems, which are usually associated with a scatter of cardio intervals and the absolute power of the basic frequency component of HRV wave spectrum. Youths have an index of activity of regulatory systems, which has a high correlation with the relative values of the low and very low-frequency spectrum of HRV waves, as well as with an indicator of the activity of the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system.
