Studying of adsorption of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) on sorbents of various types

The new modified sorbent (CB-1-K) on the basis of the molding of the Astrakhan region representing a unique absorber, capable to delete sour gases, heavy metals, various organic and inorganic compounds from air and water is received, without doing harm to health of the person. The main physico-chemical and adsorption-structural characteristics the obtained sorbent: porosity sorbent on from acetone, total volume of the pore water, moisture content, pH water suspension, bulk density, abrasion, as well as the specific surface through to study the adsorption of isopropanol from the solutions of different concentrations. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) adsorption on a molding of the Astrakhan region and the modified sorbent of CB-1-K is studied. Comparative studying of sorption of a component on considered sorbents is carried out. Isotherms of static sorption of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) from water solutions are received, change of an enthalpy (∆H), isobaric and isothermal potential (∆G) and entropy (∆S) of sorption are calculated. The received results allow to consider that component adsorption on sorbents goes rather actively, value of thermodynamic sizes testify to spontaneous nature of process and formation of strong adsorptive complexes. The kinetics of sorption of vitamin C from water solutions of a component from water solutions is calculated.
