GIS technology and prospects of their use for ecological tourism,on the example Bogdinsko-Baskunchak Reserve

Ecotourism is a new form of tourism. The modern tourist activity makes demands not only a place of rest, but also to the technological support. One way to meet these demands is the use of GIS technology, as they improve the working methods of the information. This article describes the geo-information systems, describes the possibility of their use in eco-tourism. Analysis capabilities with GIS are given, methods for storing and presenting information in a GIS and the possibility of using interactive systems that provide traceability, control and monitoring in real time are described. For example the database the opportunities and prospects of GIS in ecological tourism for ecological reserve described.
