To obtain a balance on protein and green concentric-Rowan feed necessary to increase the area of high-protein crops. Widespread cultivation suitable to the local conditions of high legume cul-round. Peas, chickpeas, vetch, soybean, etc., will help solve the problem of protein deficiency. The article presents the results of comparative tests of leguminous plants, raised-Vai for feeding purposes and to ensure stable yields under conditions of a steppe zone of the Orenburg region. It was found that when cleaning on hay in phase butoniza-tion, zernosenazh - a phase of formation of beans and grain forage highest yield of vegetative mass and grain yield of feed units and digestible protein per hectare have varieties of peas Samarius, Samarets, Chishminsky 229 and rank Marble.
