Change of activity of antioxidant enzyme system of lung rats of different postnatal age at exogenous hyperthermia

A comparative analysis of activity of an enzymatic link of antioxidant system in pulmonary tissue of rats of different postnatal age in the conditions of acute hyperthermia Is conducted. Age features in activity of a superoxide dismutase and catalase in pulmonary tissue of 6-week, 5-, 12-and 30-month-old white rats are revealed. At a thermal tension multidirectional changes in activity of a catalase and superoxide dismutase in pulmonary tissue of animals of different ages are shown. The results show greater enzymatic activity of antioxidants and light stress reactivity of the lungs predominantly in young rats.
