In the respiratory system of a person, the nasal cavity is the "first line of defense" and are particularly sensitive to the influence of negative anthropogenic factors, primarily of industrial origin. The protective function of the nose (endonasal homeostasis) is realized through the buffer properties of nasal mucus (eluate), the immune and structural cell elements. The functional state of the mucРѕnasal homeostasis varies depending on the growth trends of the human body and the environment. For the Astrakhan region, the question remains of the impact of the hydrogen sulfide containing components on the respiratory system and the nasal cavity in particular. Thus, there is a lack of scientific information about the impact of food production Astrakhan gas complex in the state by endonasal homeostasis in persons living in sanitary-protective zone of the enterprise.
