PECULIARITIES OF MASS TRANSFER OF IONS OF CALCIUM IN SOLID-PHASE CONCENTRATION WITH NATURAL MATERIALS

An important practical and theoretical value for solving a wide range of technological problems in the production of materials with predetermined properties are sorption characteristics such as sorption capacity, selectivity, complexing properties. To determine the mechanisms of the adsorption process, it is necessary to determine the limiting stage of mass transfer. The kinetic parameters of the static sorption of calcium ions by natural sorbents are considered by the method of limited volume. Based on the analysis of the kinetic curves in the coordinates of the Boyd-Adamson equations, the contribution of the limiting stage of sorption of calcium ions by the sorbents studied is estimated. It is established that the sorption process proceeds in a mixed diffusion regime with predominance inside the diffusion limit. It was found that the increase in temperature leads to an increase in sorption absorption by the sorbents studied. The numerical values of the diffusion coefficients and the activation energy of the process are confirmed by the mixed character of the process kinetics.
