The selection sort of for procurement haulage into the delta of Volga river

In the Astrakhan region to provide feed cattle and small cattle it is one of the topical issues. At the same time with a decrease in the area allocated for succulent food and natural pastures degradation increase in livestock is not possible without the introduction of new species into the culture and the creation of new varieties of food plants. The agricultural producers pay the special attention to the methods of hay. The article gives the description of the varieties of alfalfa silage and their effective collection. Properly prepared silage is characterized by good taste, eatability, digestibility and high nutritional value. Also it stresses that alfalfa is superior in feed advantages of other cultures that this culture is optimal for silage and other concentrated feed. The paper set out the value of varieties of alfalfa silage in relation to the soil and climatic conditions of the Volga delta. We select two high-yielding varieties. The yields of dry weight of the grade “Astrakhanochka” was the highest and was 9,3 t/ha, it is higher than in the control 0,7 t/ha. The collecting fodder units varied from 6,09 t/ha to 7,67 t/ha, which is depending on the variety. The largest collection of fodder units produced from variety “Astrakhanochka”, it is 7,67 t/ha, which is higher than in the control 0,61 t/ha. The collection of the digestible protein from alfalfa varieties ranged from 1.51 to 2,84 t/ha. The collection of digestible protein cultivar of HC “Astrakhanochka” was considered as high, it is 2,84 t/ha, which is higher than in the control 0,95 t/ha.
