The level of lipid and protein peroxidation in the blood reflects the general organizational level of free radical balance, and depends on various parameters. The female body is subject to significant hormonal, behavioral and metabolic changes in the dynamics of the estrous cycle, however, there are still works in the scientific literature that do not take this cyclicity into account when studying free radical processes. In the study presented in this article, we studied the level of lipid peroxidation in the plasma of female rats at the estrus and diestrus stages, changes were determined by the level of TBK reagents, diene and ketotriene conjugates, Schiff bases, the level of products of oxidative modification of protein molecules.

Key words: free radical oxidation, antioxidant protection, estral cycle, blood plasma, females, rats, physiological norm
