To improve the yield and quality of products is necessary introduction of new varieties and hybrids. Derived in the same area and there showed high yield, being introduced varieties are unsuitable for other zones. The solution to this problem is possible only through the selection and introduction to the culture of the optimal range of adapted varieties. The object of the study were samples of winter hexaploid triticale from the global gene pool of All-Russian Research Institute of plant growing named by Vavilov. The research methods included the mass and individual selection, followed by selection for a number of generations in the agro-biological, physiological and morphological characters. The study highlighted the valuable genotypes for the further breeding promising triticale grain feed crops.
