Phosphorus is an essential nutrient for plant growth and development. The use of phosphate fertilizers can increase crop yields and reduce the impact of unfavorable environmental factors. The present study was conducted at the research farm of wheat research center in Northern Bangladesh with a spring wheat variety. In acid soils phosphorus were applied as 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 kg /ha (in the super phosphate). Result found that increasing the yield of spring wheat is directly proportional to doses of phosphorus, contributed up to 30 kg /ha after that yield was not increased. A similar trend was observed in the analysis of changes in the length of spike, number of spikelets per ear, number of grains per ear, 1000 grain weight.
