MORPHOPHYSIOLOGICAL FEATURES IN RAT ADRENAL AT BIOLOGICAL ACTIVE SUBSTANCES SEEDS SACRED LOTUS

In this article, we show the results of the effect of Nelumbo nucifera seed extract at different duration at intragastric administration on the adrenal glands morphometric indicators. The adrenal glands are the most important link in the chain of endocrine regulation of the most vital functions of the mammalian body. Study changes in adrenal morphofunctional features to evaluate the extent and adequacy of the response of the body to the action of various stressors. Objective - to study the effect of biologically active substances sacred lotus seeds with different duration of administration in the morpho-functional adrenal indicators. The study was carried out on female albino rats were divided into 2 groups. First group - control animals, the second group - female rats treated intragastrically Nelumbo nucifera extract over 4, 14, 21, 28 and 42 days. It has the effect of the introduction of a lotus seed extract due to the action of its components in the adrenal area, with the most pronounced impact on the volume of its nuclear kortikotsitov beam zone. Effect of extract of sacred lotus seeds in the adrenal glands that area is also confirmed by significant changes in cell volume, depending on the duration of administration of the extract.
