We have studied the changes of heart rate variability (HRV) in male and female adult rats at introduction noradrenergic neurotoxin DSP-4 (N-(2-chloroethyl)-N-ethyl-2-bromobenzylamine, 10 mg / kg of b.w., 3 days) and maprotiline - a selective noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor (10 mg / kg of b.w., 3 days). After introduction DSP-4 the capacity of LF-waves and VLF-waves moderately raised at male and female rats in rest. The similar changes of HRV have taken place at male rats after introduction of maprotiline. A maprotiline stimulated growth of heart rate frequency and decreased capacity of all HRV-waves at female rats in rest. On background DSP-4 the stress invoke strong and standing increase of heart rate frequency, decrease of capacity of all waves HRV, is especial in area VLF and LF. The maprotiline-stimulated noradrenergic transmission, on the contrary, promotes stable increase of capacity LF and VLF-waves during stress. Hence, the noradrenergic transmission system of a brain brings the significant contribution to formation LF and VLF-waves of HRV mainly in stress condition of organism. The prospective mechanism can consist in noradrenergic modulation the activity of structures of supersegmentary and segmentary levels of regulation of cardiovascular and respiratory functions.
