This article shows high informative capacity and indicative of the ability of ecotone communities of reservoirs of the delta of the Volga River, which is characterized by a high diversity of species, but also significant quantitative indicators. As substrates studied fouling organisms was examined thickets of higher aquatic plants, which is one of the most important primary producer and habitat-forming factors in aquatic ecosystems. There were individual species population pribrezhnovodnoy vegetation (cattail (Typha angustifolia L.), common reed (Phragmites austrР°lis), the triangular bulrush (Scirpus lacustris L.), submerged (curly pondweed (Potamogeton crispus L.), Ceratophyllum demersum (Ceratophyllum demersum L.), Urrutia pigweed (Myriophullum spicatum L.). From among a zooperifiton the greatest chastokta of occurrence is noted for representatives of Chironomidae, Oligochaeta, Crustacea, Mollusca, fitoperifiton - the diatomovykh, green and blue-green seaweed. The most preferred substrata for the perifitonnykh of communities were representatives of pribrezhnovodny vegetation. It is revealed that a variety of obrastatel with various sensitivity to influence will allow not only to define quality of water, but also to estimate influence duration.
