We investigated the equilibrium in solutions of krezolftaleksonS-and in the presence of ascorbic acid. The spectra of the light absorption of the dye solution and in the presence of ascorbic acid in a wide range of acidity. Based on the analysis of the experimental data with regard to the nature of the reagent, and the pharmaceutical formulation conclusions about the nature of its influence on the spectral characteristics o-KFTS. Of the dye it can be recommended as a reagent in the identification of AK. The possibility of quantitative spectrophotometric determination of AK by reaction with o-KFTS.
