Placenta reaction under variable frequency electro-magnetic waves at experiment

The placenta from the 80 pregnant white Vistar rats was examined at the 20-21 day of gestation. The rats were exposed to low-intensify electro-magnetic waves radiation of the variable frequencies: resonance - 1 GHz and 65 GHz, and non-resonance 51 GHz. Histologically, histochemically and micro-morphometrically the following changes into placenta (maternal and fetus portions) under non-resonance 51 GHz were detected: hypertrophy and atrophy of chorionic villi, blood supply system infringement, dystrophy, necrosis, inflammatory focuses. Decidual tissue displayed the similar peculiarities under 51 GHz. At the same time, the placenta structure under resonance regimes 1 GHz and 65 GHz correspond the control intacted placenta, in common.
