The reproductive system was investigated in the red claw crayfish Australian by traditional histological methods. Morpho-histological characteristic of the reproductive system was studied at different stages of crayfish. Morphological gender can be determined on the 30th day. It is shown that the testes begin to form at the age of 40-45 days, while females develop ovaries begin a little later at the age of 45-50 days. The structure of the gonads of generative cells is described at different stages of development. The investigation to determine the stage at which the sex of crayfish can be changed, in order to create a large amount of the males in the population. The article is interesting for engineers and specialists in the field “Hydrobiology” and “Aquaculture and aquatic resources”.
