Drug raw materials must be completely useful for human health and should not contain any dangerous components which can do any harm to human organism. Therefore we set a goal to explore the influence of seed steeping and foliage application by biopharmaceuticals on the buildup and accumulation macronutrient elements, heavy metals in some perennial medicinal plants which are under cultivation in the Astrakhan Region. Four natural growth regulators were chosen for the experiment: Epin-extra, Ecopin, Zircon and Narcissus.D water was chosen as a control. Lophantus anisum seeds, Melissa officinalis seeds, Mentha piperita seeds were exposed by pre-seeding treatment. The seeds were gotten in special boxes for the transplant seedlings incubation after the steeping. The open-ground planting was done when the transplant seedlings achieved the 4–5th leaves-phase. The plant section and drying were done after complete establishment and aftergrowth of vegetative parts of plant. The dry herb of medicinal plants was subjected to laboratory tests to check if it contained heavy metals or chemical elements. The research has demonstrated that seed steeping and foliage application by growth regulators resulted in decrease of heavy metals accumulation and increase of macronutrient and micronutrient elements in dry weight of plants. The research results have also illustrated the raise of macronutrient and micronutrient elements in dry weight of plants after cultural treatment by growth regulators. Comparing with the “control” Zircon, Epin-extra and Ecopin showed the biggest increase of ferrum and zinc (mg/kg), Narcissus showed slightly less increase.
