We present the results of the investigation of nelumbo nucifera populations on the Kirpichny factory 1 village territory of the Privolschsky region on the river Tsarev. We conducted morphometric measurements of nelumbo nucifera populations.The six morphometric studies were analyzed: the number of surface, rising high above the water leaves, length and width of the leaf blade, the number of buds, bud length, diameter of the flower, the diameter of a box. The chemical analysis of the nelumbo nucifera seeds extract was conducted. The composition of the higher fatty acids from lipid fraction extract measured by the gas-liquid chromatography method and determined the total phenols and flavonoids, the composition of waterin Nelumbo nucifera seeds extract. We evaluated the anxiolytic, immunotropic and antioxidant activities of the nelumbo nucifera seeds extract. The studies were conducted in female rats. The animals were divide in three group: control group; saline solution and nelumbo nucifera seeds extract. In our study we investigate the anxiolytic action nelumbo nucifera seeds extract in animal behavior in the Suok test. We research on the influence of nelumbo nucifera seeds extract on the total number of white blood cells, the proportion between the different types of leukocytes, the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and the level of TBA-active products in the liver, heart, and blood plasma. The results indicate the presence of nelumbo nucifera seeds extract expressed psychotropic, immunotropic and antioxidant properties.
