At the present time many of the irrigated lands of the Astrakhan region derived from the agricultural revolution. On such territories is possible planting Phragmites australis to grow the food for farm animals. Hay of the Phragmites australis out coarse stalked, so it is necessary to carry out its siloing, consisting in the conservation of green crop due to microbiological and enzymatic processes. The main factors silo work are suitable chemical composition of raw materials and creation of anaerobic conditions for the occurrence of lactic acid fermentation, which depends on the content of sugars in the green mass of plants. In recent ensilaging fodder crops use of microbiological preparations. The work was used biological preservative “Biotroph 600” silage green mass of Phragmites Australis. Were pledged three variants of experience: first is silage minus preservative, second is silage with “Biotroph 600”, third is silage with “Biotroph 600” and beet treacle. When using a preservative moisture content in the feed decreased to 60,8 % in comparison with the control. Of all the options experience the most reasonable was the variant of experience silo work with the help of “Biotroph 600” and beet molasses. Àfter which the cane silage was higher energy density and high aleuronic in comparison with the control and “Biotroph 600” in a pure form.
