Birds, characterized by a high level of metabolism, are very sensitive to the deficiency of physiologically important trace elements, and therefore in their body is often observed a low level of bio-oxidants that prolongs oxidative stress and hypomicroelementosis, leading to a decrease in productivity functions during adaptation to new conditions, which fall quail and Guinea fowl during their acclimatization in various biogeochemical conditions of the regions of Russia, including in the Astrakhan region, characterized by low levels of selenium, iodine and cobalt in the main components of terrestrial ecosystems and plant feed. For the first time the diagnostic assessment of pituitary-thyroid system of males and females of quails and Guinea fowls in the conditions of deficiency of J, Se Co in the main components of ecosystems of the Astrakhan region was carried out.
