The dependence of the acidity of the lightest fractions of oils from Prirazlomnoye, of Korchagin and Oleynikovskoye fields was explored from their boiling point. The investigated oils (Prirazlomnoye, a name Yu. Korchagin and Oleinikovskoye) are divided into fractions: gasoline (the boiling point up to 140 C), naphtha (the boiling point is 140-180 C), kerosene (the boiling point is 180-220 C), diesel (the boiling point is 220-280 В°C). The acidity of the resulting light fractions was determined by the presence of naphthenic acids and other acidic compounds in them. The acidity was determined in a titrimetric method in the presence of a nitrozinc yellow indicator with preliminary boiling of the sample (to remove carbon dioxide distorting the results of titration). 0,05n alcohol solution of potassium hydroxide was used as the titrant. It was found that the acidity of the oil fractions evolves unequaly. The Oleinikovskoye oil field has the highest value of acidity among the three investigated oils: the Prirazlomnoye field, the Oleinikovskoye and Korchagin fields. The highest acidity value for all three oils corresponds to naphtha fraction (boiling point 140-180 C), which indicates of the largest content of naphthenic acids in it.
