The article presents the results of a study of general motor activity, research behavior, level of anxiety and memory in adult sexually mature rats after treatment with extracts of Ginkgo Biloba and aqueous salvia extract. Despite the increase in nootropic drugs, the development and introduction of new drugs with nootropic activity, from widely available and affordable herbal material, remains an actual task of practical pharmacy. The studied indicators were analyzed using behavioral tests, namely the Suok-test and the method of the conditioned reflex of passive avoidance. The results showed that aqueous salvia extract and Ginkgo-Biloba solution promoted activation of patterns of research behavior and decreased anxiety level in animals in the Suok-test, and the results were comparable to those obtained after obtaining a solution of the divaza, a preparation of comparison with known nootropic properties. Animal solution of Ginkgo-Biloba stimulates cognitive functions in rats, which is expressed in improving the elaboration of the conditioned reflex and the preservation of the memorable trace after training in the conditioned reflex test of passive avoidance.
