In the study gland function used the method of analysis of the homogenate of tissue, as in the study of the digestive function of the pancreas of birds using the fistula method is not possible. Analysis of the results of the study showed that there are significant differences in the content of enzymes gidrolizuemye carbohydrate and protein components of feed the geese and ducks. Also the results of the study justify the exocrine function of the organ seasonal changes. The pigeon, the highest activity of amylolytic enzymes discovered in winter, and in summer a decrease in the level of amylase by 65 % compared to the winter period.
